Assessment / Evaluation
A complete voice evaluation includes an in-depth clinical case history (interview with you) to determine any medical or behavioral correlates to your voice disorder.
A motor-speech evaluation is also performed to determine the health and function of the nerves and muscles involved in voice and speech. It is also essential to assess your postural alignment, laryngeal mechanism function, and coordination of respiration, support and phonation.
Then, an assessment of your dynamic voice range, quality of tone, ease of production and overall voice production will be performed.
